Do you have only simple annotation demo / sourcecode?
Because it's very confuse in your AnnotationDemo project.

If I've right you understood, do you find our Annotation Demo project too complicated?

If so, after installation of the evaluation setup package there are also much more simple demo available:
Open "[install_path]\Examples\CSharp\SimpleDemos" folder for getting C# source codes for WinForms application for Visual Studio .NET 2005 - 2017
Open "[install_path]\Examples\VB.NET\SimpleDemos" folder for getting VB.NET source codes for WinForms application for Visual Studio .NET 2005 - 2017
Open "[install_path]\Examples\CSharp\WpfSimpleDemos" folder for getting C# source codes for WPF application for Visual Studio .NET 2008 - 2017
Open "[install_path]\Examples\VB.NET\WpfSimpleDemos" folder for getting VB.NET source codes for WPF application for Visual Studio .NET 2008 - 2017
