Since we are working with rather high-end MFPs we don't have 2 on hand (in our development environment) so I have to make some assumptions. We are waiting for two MFPs of the same type. They should arrive within the next couple of days.
Do you know how one would handle a situation like that? We already have scenarios like this. However, each MFP is attached to one machine. We are looking at a central server to handle all the MFP-related tasks so it would need to scan from the same type of MFP but with a specific IP address. There could be N scanners. I think the most we have now is something like 4 MFPs of the same type on the same network.
Hope that makes sense.

Eben
Re: Scanning from multiple network sources of same type
The answer was in my previous post. There was displayed only one TWAIN source in device selection dialog.
It is generally impossible to install the same TWAIN driver on the same machine twice. The system would say something like
"The software is already installed".
Please run your own test and let us know.
Kind regards,
Yuri
Re: Scanning from multiple network sources of same type
We cannot scan from both from the same PC. Since there is one twain source it only picks one scanner. We had a look in the registry if there is perhaps some place that one can set the IP address and maybe duplicate the source but to no avail.
Any ideas?

Eben
