Exception when aquiring 16-bit grayscale image

Hello,
the twain ui of the EPSON scanners allow to select 8-bit grayscale, 16-bit grayscale, 24-bit color, 48-bit color.

If the user selects 16-bit grayscale an error appears and I cannot get the image.

What should I do to scan the image correctly regardless the user settings ?

Hello Yannis,

What transfer mode do you use? I think you use the Native transfer mode.

Acquisition of 16- and 48-bpp images are supported only in the Memory transfer mode.
