Good way to do status updates for long processing

Looking for a good way to do status updates (i.e. 10% complete... 80% complete... Finished) for long processes like saving a color multipage tiff or generating thumbnails upon loading a new file. Is this possible?

Hello Shane,

At the moment you can get information about progress of image processing only. Ability to get information about progress of loading/saving images will be added in next version of library.

Is there an example of this anywhere in the example projects (for multipage tiff saving)?
