The new version 14.0 of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK and Plug-ins has been released!


What's new in VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK 14.0:
  • .NET development
    • Added support for .NET 9 in Windows, Linux and macOS.
    • Fixed several minor bugs.
  • Web development
    • Demo applications
      • Web demo application "Document Viewer Demo" now allows you to open .TXT files.
    • Fixed several minor bugs.

What's new in VintaSoft PDF .NET Plug-in 11.0:
  • .NET development
    • Added support for .NET 9 in Windows, Linux and macOS.
    • Compress PDF document:
      • Added the support for "Object Streams" for getting the best compression of PDF document.
      • Improved the algorithms for compression of PDF document.
      • Improved the algorithm of PdfDocumentCompressorCommand class.
  • Web development
    • Created the JavaScript UI-control WebPdfDocumentEditorControlJS that allows to view, print, redact, verify, convert, save PDF document in HTML5 web browser:
      • JavaScript UI control that works in all major HTML5 web browsers
      • User interface is compatible with personal computers, tablets and smartphones
      • Open file from URL without uploading the file data to the application's web server (file data streaming by request)
      • View PDF pages, multipage view mode is supported
      • View thumbnails of PDF pages
      • Print PDF document
      • Select text in PDF document
      • Search text in PDF document with ability to highlight searched text
      • Fill interactive form in PDF document with ability to upload the filled PDF document

      • The visual tool DicomViewerTool now allows to navigate DICOM images/slices in image viewer using embedded scrollbar.
      • Added the interaction points for changing the slice thickness in DICOM MPR viewer (WinForms and WPF).
    • Encode DICOM file
      • Added the ability to encode DICOM file with specified compression.
  • Web development
    • The JavaScript UI-control WebDicomControlJS now supports DICOM MPR and Curved MPR:

    • Added the ability to convert HTML document to a DOCX document. External CSS-styles are not supported yet.
    • Added the ability to convert RTF document to a DOCX document.

What's new in VintaSoft OCR .NET Plug-in 8.0:
  • .NET development
    • Added support for .NET 9 in Windows and Linux.
    • The used Tesseract OCR engine has been updated to version 5.5.0.
    • The Vintasoft.Imaging.Ocr.ML assembly now uses Microsoft.ML 4.0.0.
    • Demo-applications:
      • Web demo-application "OCR Demo" now allows to recognize text in all loaded images, save text recognition result to a searchable PDF document, open created searchable PDF document with ability to select and search text.
