Post by mywebforall »

Hi Alex,
My WEB App is working fine on Chrome and Edge ,Windows 11 running here, but on Firefox i get this error. I've set security.tls.version.min = 1 on about:config in Firefox, as specified in your documentation but i still get the error,
Any suggestions?

Thank you and best regards,
Luigi

Hi Luigi,

All modern web browsers allow CORS requests for secured connections only. Do you use secure connection (https://localhost:25329/api/VintasoftTwainApi) to access VintaSoft Web TWAIN service?

If you use secure connection, please let me know version of Windows and Firefox.

VintaSoft Web TWAIN service is not working in Windows 7 and Firefox 74+. More info please read in the "VintaSoft Web TWAIN service is not working in Windows 7 and Firefox 74+" section here: https://www.vintasoft.com/docs/vstwain- ... rvice.html

Best regards, Alexander

Hi Alex,

I've already wrote before that i'm running Windows 11 Pro 22H2 and already red and followed the https://www.vintasoft.com/docs/vstwain- ... rvice.html. I'm using a secure connection, my Web App is running on HTTPS and, as speciefied before, i get the error only on the latest stable version of Mozilla Firefox browser.

Best regards,
Luigi

Hi Luigi,

We tested VintaSoft JavaScript TWAIN Scanning Demo in Windows 11 and the latest version (110.0.1 (64-bit)) of Mozilla Firefox and have not found any problem. Please open VintaSoft JavaScript TWAIN Scanning Demo in your Windows desktop and let me know result.

Best regards, Alexander
