Version 4.0 of VintaSoftImaging.NET SDK has been released.

What's new in this version of VintaSoftImaging.NET SDK:
  • Loading algorithm of TIFF files has been improved.
  • Ability to save TIFF with Zip compression is added.
  • Memory usage in saving algorithm of TIFF files has been optimized.
  • Ability to specify rendering settings for vector decoders is added.
  • Ability to load PDF documents is added (VintaSoftPDF.NET Plug-in necessary).
  • Ability to convert PDF documents to BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, multipage TIFF files is added (VintaSoftPDF.NET Plug-in necessary).
  • Ability to save images as PDF/A document is added (VintaSoftPDF.NET Plug-in necessary).
  • Ability to decode and encode 1bpp JBIG2 standalone images or embedded into PDF document is added (VintaSoftJBIG2.NET Plug-in necessary).
  • Ability to convert image file into 1 bpp JBIG2 file and back is added (VintaSoftJBIG2.NET Plug-in necessary).
  • Thumbnail rendering speed has been increased.
  • Ability to customize the behavior of visual tools is added.

  • Decoders hierarchy is changed.

  • Bug in the thumbnail selection algorithm has been fixed.

  • PDF Reader Demo, PDF Editor Demo, PDF Reader Web Demo and JBIG2 Codec Demo are created.
What's new in this version of VintaSoftAnnotation.NET Plug-in:
  • Added ability to load/save annotations from/to PDF documents (VintaSoftPDF.NET Plug-in necessary).
  • Bug in Pixel-to-Pixel preview mode of image with annotations and different horizontal and vertical resolution is fixed.
  • New virtual method (SetResolution) is added to AnnotationBase Class.
  • New method (CalculateLength) is added to IRuler interface.
  • Added ability to build symmetrical annotations visually.
  • Some major and minor fixes.
  • Annotation Demo has been updated.
What's new in this version of VintaSoftPDF.NET Plug-in:
  • View and print PDF documents version 1.0-1.7.
  • Render PDF files to any supported raster image format.
  • Display PDF file's bookmarks and any page annotations.
  • Create and save PDF documents version 1.0-1.7 and image-only PDF/A.
  • Pack and optimize PDF file content.
  • Create and edit PDF file bookmarks.
  • Work with PDF page annotations using features of VintaSoftAnnotation.NET Plug-in.
  • Supported fonts: TrueType, Type0, Type1, Type3.
  • Supported compressions: CCITT3, CCITT4, JPEG, LZW, Run Length, Zip, JBIG2.
  • Supported color spaces: DeviceGray, DeviceRGB, DeviceCMYK, Indexed, Separation, Pattern.

  • Decode and encode 1bpp standalone and embedded into PDF file JBIG2 images.
  • Convert any supported image format to JBIG2 and back.
  • Work with multipage JBIG2 file supported: create, manipulate pages, merge, split.
  • Arithmetic decoding and encoding supported.
  • MMR decoding and encoding supported.
  • Huffman table decoding (standard and user-supplied) supported.
  • Lossless or Lossy compression supported.
  • Opportunity to use symbol dictionary for more effective compression.
  • JBIG2 Demo is created.
