- Added the ability to detect regions of 2D barcodes (Aztec, DataMatrix, QR Code, HanXinCode, MaxiCode) in an image using neural network (AI). Usage of a neural network (AI) provides a significant increase in the performance of barcode recognition on medium and large-sized images.
- Added the ability to detect regions of 1D barcodes in an image using neural network (AI). Usage of a neural network (AI) provides a significant increase in the performance of barcode recognition on medium and large-sized images.
- Added the ability to recognize and generate DMRE barcodes (Data Matrix Rectangular Extension).
- Added the ability to recognize IATA barcodes (IATA BCBP Aztec, IATA BCBP DataMatrix, IATA BCBP PDF417, IATA BCBP QR).
- The 2D barcode print quality test has been updated to the "ISO/IEC 15415 Third edition (2024-12)" specification.
- The 1D barcode print quality test has been updated to the "ISO/IEC 15416 Third edition (2025-01)" specification.
- The 1D barcode print quality test now returns information about quiet zone around barcode: ISO15416ScanReflectanceProfile.QuietZoneLeft, ISO15416ScanReflectanceProfile.QuietZoneRight.
- Improved the algorithm that recognizes QR Code barcodes with print defect.
- Added the ability to specify barcode layout zones on an image (Vintasoft.Barcode.BarcodeLayoutInfo), which can significantly increase performance of the barcode recognition process.
- Added the ability to simultaneously recognize barcodes with non-inverted and inverted colors.

- Improved the algorithm that stops barcode recognition (ReaderSettings.RecognitionTimeout) when barcode regions are detected using AI.
- Improved the algorithm that recognizes DataMatrix barcode with damaged L-pattern.
