Version 8.7.1.15 of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK has been released.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK:
  • Added new image print modes (FitToWidth and FitToHeight) in WinForms and WPF.
  • In the GetHistogramCommand class added the ability to get 16-bit histogram.
  • Fixed a minor bug in the WpfThumbnailViewer class - the WpfThumbnailViewer class did not raise the ThumbnailAdded and ThumbnailRemoved events when WpfThumbnailViewer.MasterViewer property was changed.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft PDF .NET Plug-in:
  • Improved the algorithm, which creates searchable PDF documents from OCR results.
  • Improved the algorithm, which draws text in PDF content - now algorithm takes into account information about font descent.

  • The used Tesseract OCR engine has been updated to version 4.0:

  • Added the ability to recognize text in several languages using the functionality of Tesseract OCR engine. Previous versions allowed to recognize text in several languages using the SDK functionality.
  • OCR demo application has been added the ability to select several languages for text recognition.

  • Added the WpfImageViewer.ImagePainted event, which occurs when the image is painted and visible in the viewer.
  • Improved the image rendering in WpfImageViewer and WpfThumbnailViewer when monitor uses not standard screen resolution.
  • Fixed the image zooming bug in WpfImageViewer when monitor uses not standard screen resolution.

  • Added new annotation ArcAnnotation (WinForms).
  • Changed behaviour of the line-based annotations - now annotation is not visible if length of annotation line is equal 0.

  • Tesseract4.Vintasoft.xXX.dll files were compiled using C++ compiler of Visual Studio 2017 and this allowed to increase the text recognition performance up to 30% in some cases.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft DICOM .NET Plug-in:
  • Added the ability to calculate VOI LUT table of DICOM image with ignoring of extreme brightness.
  • In DicomViewerDemo/WpfDicomViewerDemo added a sample code, which shows how to draw the MPR cube axis in MPR 3D form.
  • In DicomViewerDemo fixed the bug in algorithm that saves DICOM annotations in PRE-file.

Version 8.7.2.9 of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK has been released.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK:
  • The BorderClearCommand class binarizes source image for getting information about border pixels, which should be cleared. From this version the BorderClearCommand class allows to change and setup the binarization command, which is used for binarization of source image.
  • Now IsDocumentImageInvertedCommand class allows to specify what document type the user is looking for. Supported document types: document is received from scanner; document is received from photo camera.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft PDF .NET Plug-in:
  • Improved the algorithm that renders PDF content.
