Version 8.6.13.1 of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK has been released.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK:
  • Added the ability to get the JPEG quality, which was used for encoding of JPEG images.
  • Improved the algorithm that decodes CMYK JPEG images.
  • Improved the algorithm that encodes TIFF images with tiles and LZW compression.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft Annotation .NET Plug-in:
Added the ability to use together the mouse and touch screen events for annotating images in HTML5 and SVG annotation viewer.
  • Added the ability to disable the annotation deserialization in HTML5 and SVG annotation viewers. This allows to increase the viewer performance if the images do not have annotations, but the annotations should be used for view purposes, for example for measurements.

  • Added new image processing commands - RemapColors16Command Рё Curves16Command, which allow to remap the colors in images with 16-bits per color channel.
  • Fixed the bug in LevelsCommand class.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft PDF .NET Plug-in:
  • Decreased the memory usage and improved the rendering performance when the very large vector PDF documents are rendered.
  • Improved the compatibility with Adobe Reader in viewing of multipage PDF interactive text fields and PDF annotations.
  • Improved the algorithm of PdfPage.RemoveText(RectangleF[]) method.
  • Improved the algorithm that works with flags of PDF document:
    • Added new value ExtractTextAndGraphicsForAccessibility into enumeration Vintasoft.Imaging.Pdf.Security.UserAccessPermissions. In previous versions value ExtractTextAndGraphicsForAccessibility was included in value ExtractTextAndGraphics.
    • The AssembleDocument flag now does not depends from the ModifyContents flag.
  • Fixed the bug in algorithm, which copies PDF page settings.
  • Fixed the bug in algorithm, which determines the PDF page size.

  • Improved the asynchronous work of image viewer when the viewer displays large vector documents.
  • Added minor improvements in visual tool ImageViewerProcessingTool.
  • Fixed the bug in Gamma property of ChannelRemapSettings class.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft Annotation .NET Plug-in:
  • Added the ability to set the image encoder for serializing EmbeddedImageAnnotation. The image encoder can be set using AnnotationFormatter.DefaultImageEncoder and AnnotationFormatter.ImageEncoder properties.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft PDF .NET Plug-in:
  • Increased the performance of PdfFormXObjectResource.CreateFormPageRegion method for PDF pages with large content.
  • Fixed the bug in algorithm that constructs the view of CheckBox interactive field.

Version 8.6.17.1 of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK has been released.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK:
  • Improved the performance of TIFF encoder when image with strips and LZW or ZIP compression was encoded.
  • Fixed the minor bug in TIFF encoder, which occurred when TIFF image metadata was copying from one file to another. The bug was present since version 8.6.13.1.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft Annotation .NET Plug-in:
  • Improved the annotation rendering in WPF image viewer while zooming.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft PDF .NET Plug-in:
  • Improved the performance of PDF annotation rendering in multipage view mode of image viewer.

What's new in this version of VintaSoft OCR .NET Plug-in:
  • Improved the algorithm that generates searchable PDF documents in PdfPageCreationMode.ImageOverText mode - now the generator creates text in TextRenderingMode.Invisible mode.

  • Improved the algorithm that generates searchable PDF documents in PdfPageCreationMode.ImageOverText mode - now the generator allows to specify the text color using the PdfDocumentBuilder.TextBrush property.
  • Fixed the bug in algorithm, which encodes 8-bit indexed color images using JPEG compression and saves in PDF document.
  • Fixed the bug in PDF/A-2b and PDF/A-3b verifier and converter. The EmbeddedFontUsesNotdefGlyph class is renamed into the FontHasCharacterReferencesNotdefGlyph class.
