Do you have any plans to open this product up to allow users to view and annotate PDF, Word, RTF and other text-based documents? I've just been asked if your control will allow us to do this and can't see anything in the documentation.
Thanks,
Ian
Re: New features request for version 3.0 of VintaSoftAnnotation
When the Text Annotaion is locked (user cannot delete it, just hide it), it should be possible to move text box arround, but the arrow would all the time point from text box to the position defined, before it was locked.
When the version 3.0 will be available?

Re: New features request for version 3.0 of VintaSoftAnnotation
Some more datails:
We would like to use your product to write a application for Approving cicle of the contect in a document.
A user would be able to put Annotations on page, move them, delete them, but when he click the Button "Approved" or "Request correction" the Annotations are locked to a document. The user cannot delete the Annotations anymore, but he has to be able to hide tham or move them arround, but the arrow or something else would all the time point to the original location on the page (this is a reference point on the page, which was set before the user clicked the Button "Approved" or "Request correction"). This way the user can move annotation arroud the page, but he can still see, to which content on the page the annotation is relate to.
I hope I is undertandable.

Jaka
Re: New features request for version 3.0 of VintaSoftAnnotation
In version 3.0 AnnotationViewer will have 2 modes: Author and View. In Author mode user will be able to work (edit, move, delete, etc) with annotations. In View mode user will not be able to work with annotations, it will see annotations only.
Is it suitable for your needs?
Best regards, Alexander
Re: New features request for version 3.0 of VintaSoftAnnotation
Thank's for fast reply..
2 modes: Author and View, That's great!
In the view mode we would like to hide and move annotations, but after the move, the view user sholud be able to see where the annotation refers/points to.
